Easy way to Clear Up your Acne

As we know, acne is a problem that often arises in our face and of course when acne has already emerged it will be very disturbing appearance and reduce our confidence when meeting with others.

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. Acne usually appears on your face, neck, chest, back and shoulders. Effective treatments are available, but acne can be persistent. 

Acne is most common among teenagers, with a reported prevalence of 70 to 87 percent. Increasingly, younger children are getting acne as well.

Acne signs and symptoms are different from one to another person, depend on each condition
  • Whiteheads (closed plugged pores)
  • Blackheads (open plugged pores — the oil turns brown when it is exposed to air)
  • Small red, tender bumps (papules) 
  • Pimples (pustules), which are papules with pus at their tips 
  • Large, solid, painful lumps beneath the surface of the skin (nodules) 
  • Painful, pus-filled lumps beneath the surface of the skin (cystic lesions) 

You can take a medicine to remove acne from your face, - on medical prescription – or you can avoid acne by control your lifestyles.

Simple Step to Clear Up acne


Here are some tips to remove acne that often occurs in the face. Do this self care at home consistently :
  1. Wash your face with a mild soap and warm water at least twice a day will help remove oils on the skin surface which then causes the acne-causing bacteria to live and breed. If you tend to develop acne around your hairline, shampoo your hair every day
  2. Wash the face gently. Do not rub face excessive because it can damage the surface of the skin and increase oil production in the face and further aggravate your acne. Avoid certain products, such as facial scrubs, astringents and masks, because they tend to irritate skin, which can worsen acne
  3. Avoid oily or greasy cosmetics, sunscreens, hair styling products or acne concealers. Use products labeled water-based or noncomedogenic, which means they are less likely to cause acne
  4. Consumption of vegetables and fruits have nutrients that are needed by the skin. With healthy skin, acne is difficult to grow and develop right in the face.
  5. Keep your hair clean and off your face. Also avoid resting your hands or objects, such as telephone receivers, on your face
  6. Drink lots of water. Drinking water of at least 8 glasses per day will make the skin always healthy and fresh.
  7. Get used to sleep well and do not get used to sleeping too late or staying up until morning, because during sleep, the skin relax and get rid of toxins harmful to the skin as well as germs that cause acne, so the next day after a bath, our skin feel fresh again.

The above methods is a way that is not hard to do, if these measures done routinely and regularly, the acne on your face will disappear gradually so that your face will be free of acne. 

If home care remedies don't work to clear up your acne, see your primary care doctor. He or she can prescribe a medications.
